We had extremely hot and steamy weather here in the past few days. It was around 103 degrees but I would rather have the heat than the cold... There are so many amazing outdoor events here in the summer plus when I go to the greenmarket, I see beautiful plants and flowers... I have a big smile on my face!

Sunday afternoon...

It was gorgeous weather today, so I went for a walk by the river this afternoon.

Nothing was special but I enjoyed a peaceful moment.

Lovely Joanne is visiting NY with her daughter, Yasu at the end of this month and they're going to stay in NY for a couple of weeks. I can't want to see them again!

I am planning to have another trip this Summer but not sure yet...

I will tell you more when I decide it. :)

Weekends

I was in Boston last weekend for whale watching. I saw the whale but not much... the weather wasn't good. I got a voucher for a free whale watching, so I will go back there next month. Hope I can see them more next time and take some photos to show you!

It's been beautiful weather in NY. I went to the greenmarket yesterday and bought some apricots. They're a bit sour but very fresh!

I went to the Bastille day event today.

It was very crowded so it was hard to take some photos... only a few..

The smell of crepes and French musics made me want to go to France even more!

I wish I could visit Paris and celebrate it on July 14th...

Lavender

I bought another lavender plant yesterday.

It's different type of lavender from the one I have now..

I will post some more photos when they bloom..

I would love to visit Provence in France to see lavender field one day...

I had my birthday a couple of days ago. And I decided to treat myself...

I am planning to go to see the whales when the things get slow down... :)

I had photo shoot of Fella the other day and working on a postcard for lovely Alessandra who made crochet toy, Fella.

Weekend

I have a large lavender plant on my balcony and they are in full bloom!

They make me feel calm and relaxed....

I was working over the weekend. I needed to take a little break, so I went to Brooklyn flea market near where I live. It was fun to hang out and look at all the vintage stuff....

Roses

It has been very busy these days and I am so sorry for the late post...

I am glad it's a holiday weekend. I can take a little break and catch up...

I went for a walk by the river today and found lovely rose bushes..

I was thinking of Françoise who sent me a beautiful fabric postcard from Belgium.

A little Fella, an adorable crochet doll made by lovely Alessandra,

arrived in NY from England, a couple of days ago. yay!

He came here to work on a project with me...

Promotional piece

I have been sending out my promo piece since last month.

I printed 500 pieces and have sent and handed out 50 pieces so far...

It's a lot of work but it's a fun process!

Spring flowers

It's getting warmer day by day and flowers are blooming... yay!

I am planing to buy some vegetable plants and I am going to grow them on my balcony.
