Weekend

It was such beautiful weather, so I went to the greenmarket to feel Spring.
I am planning of buying hyacinth!

It was the one year anniversary of the tragic earthquake and tsunamis in Japan yesterday.
I went to the beach and was thinking of Japan...

Love & Peace

We didn't have great weather this sunday but Spring is definitely coming. I thought of Japan too, and of my dear friend Cynthia that passed away the same day. I was a little sad so hubby and I decided to go for a walk.
We went to a secondhand market and the only thing I bought was a bunch of vintage kokeshi.
This was such a luck! Brought me my smile back.
I'm waiting for hanami now :o)

Your beach series is wondeful <3

The red flower sent me running to your blog. Simply beautiful. I keep Japan always close to my heart. It is amazing that one year has passed.

One year passes so fast, doesn't it? We will get through every obstacle. 波の音から答えが聞こえるみたいね。

Lovely color ... spring is indeed up ahead ... but then I can't imagine that the sand and water were that warm for your shoeless state. (Shivering for you. lol.) :)

The second part about what happened in Japan, just one year ago, renders me speechless. But then perhaps that's alright, and appropriate for a moment of silence.

I take that moment now.
