Help!

I went to see "The Cove".

People see what's happening in our oceans...

More than 20,000 dolphins are slaughtered
by Japanese fishermen in Taiji, Japan each year.

Please help save dolphins in Japan!

makes me so sad. I love watching the dolphins swim beside the boat when we go to the ocean.

We must act to save dolphins... and whales... and white bears... and bees... and our children... to save our planet !!!

This is so sad. The dolphins are smart creatures we can learn so much from.

Nasumi have you thought of forwarding your art of this on to the Ric O'Barry, it is so powerful? xoxo

I want to see "the cove" too
The contrast between red blood and the sweet doplphin shock great!

I didn't see the cove, and followed your link to learn more. What we know over here about dolphins being sloughter is that they accidentally get trapped in fishing nets, I had no idea they were actively fished for their meat, which is highly polluted ... to be honest, I'm not sure what I find more shocking. Indeed, what is happening in our oceans?

Oh yes, dolphins are so cute, particularly yours!
Humans are so cruel... What a shame!

I know about this and it tears your heart apart. It is very hard to change their minds on this since they do not have any compassion towards animals.

That is such an unknown territory. It seems like people can do whatever on the oceans without being held responsible. And I think most of us dont recognize how important the lives of the sea are to us. Your illustrations are amazing as always. Simple yet strong.

Will take into account. Thanks for showing the way.

Hi Natsumi,
So sad, I just read that too.
I love dolphins, and hope to go watch them on the sea one day.
Your drawings are moving and lovely.

I just saw the previews to that movie at the theater and it made me cry. Unbelievable how cruel people can be. Makes me want to become a vegan.
