Dear Mr. squirrel, I will be spending a weekend in the country. You're always welcome to visit my balcony butplease don't dig up my plants when I am away.
Hi Natsumi, Wow, your balcony is lush and green, wonderful! I like the connection with my 'green' post today, feels like we're neighbors! I like the circles, I may try that sometime if you don't mind. Yes, the photo is looking out onto a garden in a retreat-like house in Oita City. I hope you'll meet someone terrific, I think it's not where we are but when the right moment is!!! Have a great weekend, too. I will be in NY, for Aug, next time I write from there! xo Joanne
Enjoy your weekend Natsumi. You could always try and leave a little present for Mr Squirrel next time (peanuts in the shell) so that perhaps he'll leave your rosemary and other plants alone! WHen I lived in London I had a very unwelcome squirrel guest dine on my tulip bulbs every year: he'd climb along the walls of the house all the way up to my top floor flat!
Oh my, what a cute little friend you have there. Here in Denmark they are very busy in my garden too. Thanks for an inspiring blog - I really enjoy it :-)
how beautiful, natsumi. you have a real outdoor space in new york-wow. mr. squirrel, please go down and harass the people on the street and steal their morning muffins and their croissants instead!
Do you think Mr Possum would refrain from eating my plants this week if I ask him as nicely as you have Mr Squirrel? (If only he would keep away from the roses...sigh)
