My balcony

Dear Mr. squirrel,
I will be spending a weekend in the country.
You're always welcome to visit my balcony
but
please don't dig up my plants when I am away.

Have a great weekend!

Hi Natsumi,
Wow, your balcony is lush and green,
wonderful! I like the connection with my 'green' post today, feels like we're neighbors!
I like the circles, I may try that sometime if you don't mind.
Yes, the photo is looking out onto a garden in a retreat-like house in Oita City.
I hope you'll meet someone terrific, I think it's not where we are but when the right moment is!!!
Have a great weekend, too.
I will be in NY, for Aug, next time I write from there!

Enjoy your weekend Natsumi. You could always try and leave a little present for Mr Squirrel next time (peanuts in the shell) so that perhaps he'll leave your rosemary and other plants alone! WHen I lived in London I had a very unwelcome squirrel guest dine on my tulip bulbs every year: he'd climb along the walls of the house all the way up to my top floor flat!

After asking them so nicely I'm sure the squirrel couldn't possibly do anything silly to your plants :)

I hope he didn't eat all of your garden and saved some for you. One day we had onions the next day they were all gone. How was your weekend? xoxo

Do you think Mr Possum would refrain from eating my plants this week if I ask him as nicely as you have Mr Squirrel? (If only he would keep away from the roses...sigh)
