The theme of corner view this week is street fashion. I was inspired byjgycorner view this week. She has posted some photos of her daughter carrying a Japanese school bag, randoseru. I still remember that I was carrying red randoseru while I was in elementary school. So, I am still in the mood for the late 70s and I decided to post some photos of my early childhood.
This is a photo of me and my grandmother in my hometown. She was lovely lady and I remember that she always wore kimono.
Please check out Spain dailyto see other corner views!
Natsumi, this is a wonderful post. I love when you share Japanese culture with us. What a sweet photo of you and your grandmother - Thanks for your unique view!
Oh you're so pretty with your grandmother! And kimonos are so elegant... I'll think of you for your french test! Good luck!
Today I'll post a message on my blog: pants and shirt for my little boy (14 months old)!... So cute! And after, I think I will sew something for me with the beautiful fabrics I've received... Have a lovely day natsumi!

These photos are wonderful, especially the one with your grand-mother ! Thank you. If you would find some photos in a classroom..., I would be so happy.
Greatly adored!! Thank you so much for sharing!! I love when people share their cultures with the rest of the world. Btw, you were such a cutie!! That big grin!
Hi Natsumi, Sorry I'm late to corner view. Thank you for the link to my corner:) I love your photos, it's interesting how in some ways it feels very different from Japan now, and in some way the view of the kindergarten children with their red hats continues. The photo of you and your grandmother is beautiful. You are lucky to have such a special and precious box of childhood memories, surely they are with you in all the beautiful things you do today.
PS this 'tsuyu' is so unusual, it has hardly been raining; maybe it has changed course to NY this year?!
