Weekend

I have a large lavender plant on my balcony and they are in full bloom!
They make me feel calm and relaxed....

I was working over the weekend. I needed to take a little break, so I went to Brooklyn flea market near where I live. It was fun to hang out and look at all the vintage stuff....

Thanks for coming to visit me n. :O)

As far as I know, Lavender is used as a means to calm oneself and ward off stress, along with other things ... so you are definitely on to something. Also, I think that it may be used to open the third eye for aspiring psychics.

I think that I should get a plant! ... maybe, could be, who knows (lol.) How easy is it to care for I wonder? Hmmmm.

I recommend a footbath with lots of fresh lavender and the water as hot as you can stand it......

Beautiful lavender, even your lavender font makes me feel calm:))
I remember Yasu once had a friend who was a caterpiller that she named Lav (for Lavender) when she was small.

Looks like a fun flea market. Hope your days are calming down. Happy today from rainy Oita!

Ah, yes, lavender and roses... all all those blooms that come out in the full sun. My garden is bunkering down for the winter and the last of the autumn leaves are dropping to the ground.

Francesca sent me a little embroidered birdie sachet filled with lavender from her garden; one deep sniff lifts my spirits .. heaven.
