I invited a couple of friends to my place to celebrate Japanese New Year on New Year's day. I served some sake and traditional Japanese food which I made.
The year of 2011 is the year of the rabbit and I got "a cute Japanese rabbit" as a surprise gift from my friend. It's an adorable.. He bought it at Kiteya which is one of my favorite Japanese gift shops. I had a great first day of 2011 with warm people.

I have a dwarf black rabbit as a companion at home. His name is Beau and he is adorable. So I am quite eager for the Year of the Rabbit to start.

What a cutie he is. It was great to see all the rabbits around Singapore this past week. We bought a couple of Starbucks rabbit mugs as a little souvenier. Hope 2011 brings you lots of good things.
