Happy Easter!

I had my first French lesson last Tuesday and I found it's very difficult to learn French, especially pronunciation... My teacher speaks French most of the time in the class and I don't understand what she is talking about.. I feel like I am in a different planet.. Yes, I feel really frustrated but at the same time, I enjoy this class and learning French. My goal is to be able to understand and converse in very basic French by next year visiting in France! Wish me luck!

Have a great weekend and happy easter!

I also found it the same when I was doing French last year.
Love the little birdy!!!

I felt that same way when I started Spanish! I would just sit there for 2 hours thinking am i ever going to understand this?! After 3 months, I had learned so much because when you are forced to figure things out, you start to catch on much faster than when the teacher tells you what each phrase means. Just stick with it and don't get discouraged! You must be really excited to go to France! I have always wanted to go to Europe and my parents said that we might go for my senior trip, maybe! I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)

the start is always the most difficult part!
I'm sure you'll get it and if you're going on learning it by drawing... I see no problems for you becoming a very talented french speaker!!

Oh, those eggs are so adorable-and the little bird too. I agree, learning a language really is like being on another planet but totally worth it once you start catching on...feels so great!! Good luck.
